			< Back "Luxury at it best" Date: May 27, 2006 Reviewer: A TripAdvisor Member, Madrid (Spain) For us luxury it is not just a nice setting or beautiful place to stay, it takes that and much more to make a hotel unforgettable. That is what the hotel Villa le Escale has given to us during the four days we have just spend in Capri (may 18th-22nd). To start with the basics the hotel is a really beautiful villa located in Anacapri. Both the common areas and the rooms are perfectly decorated to the detail including many antiquities and paintings. The gardens, the terrace in the rooms and the swimming pool are also very nice and completely full of flowers. The web page it is very useful to have an impression about the hotel style; it also has a view of the rooms (each one different from the others). But the what makes this hotel exceptional is the concept of service and attention. Vincent Copelan, the General Manager, was helpful and really patient with us, without any doubt he has been the key for the succes of our trip to Capry. He provided all the advice we needed reaching the perfection including our airport transfer to the hotel, all the restaurants we visited (including the reservation of the nicest tables) and the boat tour around the island on a private "gozzo" (this is a "must" and should not be missed anyway, ask for Marcello as the boat men). He also manages all the personal working in the hotel assuring perfect and friendly attention when needed and privacy for the rest of the time. Finally the whole hotel deserves an atmosphere of relaxation and privacy as no visitors are allowed. Spending the morning in the swimming pool and having a brief lunch in the garden it is also a really nice experience. As I said a PERFECT hotel, sure we will be there next year (and every year if possible). < Back
