			< Back "One of the very best" Date: June 29, 2006 Reviewer: A TripAdvisor Member, London Choosing between the Capri Palace and Villa Le Scale for our stay in Capri was an unexpected task that emerged in March this year. Unexpected because until then I had never used trip advisor, had never heard of Villa Le Scale and already had a booking with the Capri Palace. I was persuaded to change based on the Villa Le Scale web site and the views expressed here, so I cancelled Capri Palace and booked a five-day stay at the Villa. So thanks indeed for the accurate and objective views expressed, I can confirm that they are completely spot-on. We used two rooms during our stay, the Artists Room and the Venetian room; they are both charming and individual. You tend to feel that the Villa is very much your own space, it becomes your home. The way Villa Le Scale delivers its services is incredibly subtle, in taking advantage of Vincent and Ana Maria's advice, it became clear that the recommendations you receive are only given if the restaurant or trip meet their exacting standards, there is no anonymous concierge or commission process driving your experience, it’s all about quality. Things that we will always remember; - Vincent and Ana Maria - Massage on the private terraces, one of the best massages I have ever had. - The boat trip around the island with Marcello, great fun, what a boatman. - The ambience of the Villa. - Trying all the restaurants on the list, top marks for great research and great tables as well. - The first moment you arrive at the Villa, the gates open and the whole flow of people travelling along the street just stopped to look up at the villa as it is briefly exposed to the world before it becomes your private paradise. < Back
