The staff and the manager Vincent were excellent hosts. The location was on the top of the mountain in capri, located a cab ride away from the bustle of anacapri. Cab rides cost about 12 euros one way. We actually spent our days in both Capri and Anacapri. The hotels sits on a street full of stores and is very close to the main plaza. Vincent was excellent in setting up dinner reservations and a very good private tour of the Island. When taking the boat into Capri take the SNAV hovercraft. It is much nicer and must faster. Sandals are a specialty in capri. One of the oldest sandal makers is located right down the street from the hotel. The restaurants we ate at were Da Giorgio which was right on the cliff at capri. The staff can make arrangements and get difficult reservations made. If you are looking for luxury in a small setting than this is the place. Much nicer than the JW Marriot and rooms were truly unique. < Back
