			< Back "Outstandingly lovely" Date: August 03, 2006 Reviewer: A TripAdvisor Member, London, England It is hard to write about the Villa Le Scale without using every adjective in the book in an attempt to paint a complete picture of this unique hotel. Our room was beautiful, with a terrace that was surrounded by honeysuckle, overlooking the sea. The gardens are lovely, with quiet shady areas and great sunspots, with a stunning pool set on one of the lush and enchanting terraces. The staff at the hotel are outstanding, helpful, ever-present but never intrusive. At dinner on our first evening in Anacapri, the hotel sent someone down to the restaurant with an umbrella as it had started to rain. Their recommendations, for restaurants and excursions, were obviously tried and tested - and wonderful, don’t miss dinner at Aurora, wonderful food, great wine and lovely atmosphere. If you can, book a massage on your terrace with Gabrielle and a trip round the island with Marcello. We didn't feel that we were staying in an hotel, but that we had gone to wonderful house party with a fabulous invisible host who guided us and made sure that we got the most from our time in Capri.
