			< Back "Fairytale Wedding Venue" Date: October 22, 2006 Reviewer: A TripAdvisor Member, UK My Husband and I fell in love with Capri a year prior to our wedding, so when we discovered The Villa le Scale we knew that it would be the perfect place to get married. We hired the entire villa out so both our families could stay with us. This made the entire experience of our wedding day so much more personal and intimate. Our guests were amazed with their rooms, each one individually themed with luxurious bathrooms. After a year of planning and much anticipation we got married in September2006. Even though we had visited the villa the year before, we couldn't quite visualise how the wedding would go but with the help and guidance from Anna Maria Coronato( owner) and Vincent Copeland, we were able to build a picture through there detailed e-mails of how our day was to be conducted. They were both very patient and listened to our every request, which is great for us stressful brides! I even sent them a colour sample of my bridesmaids dresses, which they matched perfectly for my flowers, cake and table decorations. The only thing however that can never be guaranteed,was the weather!!! The weekend of my wedding Capri experienced some of the worst thunder storms I have ever seen. My husband and I couldn't believe it. I thought my fairy tale wedding was going to be ruined. When Vincent and Anna Maria advised me to have our meal inside in there newly built conservatory, I wasn't keen. For a whole year I had visions of my wedding party eating outside and enjoying the wonderful gardens of the villa,however I trusted them both and at that stage realised I wasn't in control no more. Luckily I was still able to get married in the secret garden, which was my one wish since I was having to go inside to eat. Vincent contacted the Mayor and asked him to arrive slightly early as there was a break in the rain, and just for 1/2 hour the sun shone while we got married outside. After the ceremony we retired back to the villa to carry on with the celebrations, our guests enjoyed wonderful canapes,cocktails and champagne which was offered around by the villa's attentive and very friendly staff. It was then time to sit down for dinner. I couldn't believe how Anna Maria and her team had transformed the conservatory in the most romantic setting. She had adorned the ceiling with flowers, the table decorations were incredible and the use of candles on tables and around the room just set the mood perfectly especially as the sun set. Our Wedding Day was perfect and much more than I ever could imagine. Everyone had the time of their lives. This was one wedding that none of them was ever going to forget. We will definitely be back to stay at the Villa Le Scale, on the wonderful island of Capri and can recommend this as the perfect venue for the Wedding of a lifetime! < Back
